CLIMBING KILIMANJARO

Embark on an Adventure to Summit Africa's Tallest Peak: Trekking Mount Kilimanjaro

The snow-covered summit of Africa is a dormant volcano situated within Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro National Park. Mount Kilimanjaro features three distinct volcanic cones: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Kibo’s crater rim, is part of the massive stratovolcano that forms Mount Kilimanjaro.

This mountain began forming around a million years ago as a result of lava flows from the Rift Valley region. While two of its three peaks, Mawenzi and Shira, are now extinct, Kibo, the tallest cone, remains dormant and could potentially erupt in the future.
